With the Fall 2020 high school sports season postponed until December, ISF offered nine Fall sports camps that allowed athletes to practice in a safe environment. Per the CIF announcement on July 20, 2020, high school sports for the 2020-2021 school year will be consolidated into two seasons: Fall and Spring. CHS sports are assigned to the two seasons as follows: Further details on the season dates to be announced by CIF San Diego by August 14, 2020.
Hello Islander Athletic Families What a crazy time this has been. Wanted to let everyone know the latest as it pertains to sports at Coronado High School for the coming school year. Casey Harris Casey lettered in Cross Country and Lacrosse. In Cross Country he qualified for the state championships twice. In Lacrosse he was the team’s main mid-fielder where he earned All-League honors and would have most certainly done so again this year had the season not been cut off short. Cole loves running!! He has enjoyed running Varsity Cross Country and Track at CHS the last 4 years. Some of his favorite meets were the Stanford Invitational, running the Woodbridge Meet at night, winning and getting the bell at Mt Sac, and the State Championships at Fresno. Teams are chosen by having the highest average unweighted grade point average for the fall grading period. In addition the junior or senior with the highest cummulative weighted GPA is selected at the Section scholar Athlete. So way to go showing
Junior Abigail Hundley and Sophomore Landon Mullins The Islander Cross Country team competed in the CIF championships on Saturday Nov. 23rd. at Morley Field. Junior Abigail Hundley and Sophomore Landon Mullins ran fast enough to earn themselves a trip to Fresno next week for the State Meet. Hundley came in 13th overall in Division IV while
