Crista Izuzquiza Named UT Athlete of the Week

Firing a 2-under-par 34 at the Coronado course, the senior led her team past Morse 254-295. Earlier, Izuzquiza, from Spain, shot an even-par 36 in a 238-241 victory over Torrey Pines.

Hole In One

Congratulations to Freshman golfer Natalia Avanni who scored a HOLE IN ONE on the #4 hole at Mission Bay.  The Lady Islanders are starting off strong with already a few wins to their credit.  Several new Freshman, like Natalia and her twin Mariella that are making for a bright future for our team.  

CHS Fall Sports Information 2019

Plan ahead for the Fall 2019 season of CHS sports! Fall Teams Shine in the Classroom

All of Coronado’s fall sport teams were named the CIF South County All-Academic teams! The selection is based on the average GPA of the entire Varsity team for the fall grading term and is based on unweighted grades.  In addition the Junior or Senior athlete with the highest average weighted cumulative  GPA on that team is named the Scholar

Crista Izuzquiza places 6th in Southern California

Junior Crista Izuzquiza placed 6th in the Southern California Regional CIF tournament. With two holes to play she was 1 under par (5th place).  On her 17th hole she drove it into water and dropped a shot to go even par (7th place). On her last hole she dropped a shot to finish 1 over

Crista I. earns City Conference Golf Title

In a week long match play format Crista I. beat all comers to claim the City Conference Title. In the semi-final and final match she beat girls from Point Loma shooting all rounds under par. Proud to call you an Islander!
