All Academic Teams Announced

Congratulations to the following teams that were selected as South County’s All Academic teams.  Teams are chosen by having the highest average unweighted grade point average for the fall grading period.  In addition the junior or senior with the highest cummulative weighted GPA is selected at the Section scholar Athlete. So way to go showing

Mullins and Hundley off to State Meet

Junior Abigail Hundley and  Sophomore Landon Mullins  The Islander Cross Country team competed in the CIF championships on Saturday Nov. 23rd. at Morley Field.  Junior Abigail Hundley and  Sophomore Landon Mullins ran fast enough to earn themselves a trip to Fresno next week for the State Meet.  Hundley came in 13th overall in Division IV while

Fall Teams Shine in the Classroom

All of Coronado’s fall sport teams were named the CIF South County All-Academic teams! The selection is based on the average GPA of the entire Varsity team for the fall grading term and is based on unweighted grades.  In addition the Junior or Senior athlete with the highest average weighted cumulative  GPA on that team is named the Scholar

Cross Country Place in Div IV CIF

At the CIF finals in Cross Country the Islander teams represented our school and community well. The girls placed 4th overall with Teresa Perez and Maddn Hundley running well enough to qualify for the state meet. The boys’ team place 3rd overall which was good enough to advance as a team to the state race. 

Cross Country League Round Up

The Boys and Girls Cross Country had their final league meet on Wednesday and did wonderfully.
