Men’s Volleyball Has Historic Season

The Men’s volleyball season came to an end last night losing in the CIF championships to Hoover 25-20 25-15 25-13. But the boys had a GREAT season winning the first ever league championship for the sport and also the first time in the Finals. Great job boys!

Track Girls Shine at League Meet

Lexia Hall wins City League title in the discus and shot put. Renee Phillips shatters the school record by over 11 seconds winning the league title with a time of 11:02.25 with Sophomore Theresa Perez getting a close 2nd with a time of 11:14.44 Great job Islanders!
