Volunteerism and financial support from the parents and the community of Coronado help to ensure an optimal sports program for CHS and CMS athletes.
Volunteering ranges from a few hours, such as July 4th 5K race, snack bar staffing, Golf Tournament ticket sales, or Equipment/Uniform and Transportation Managers, to several days per month for larger tasks such as CHS Booster positions, CMS Sports Coordinators, Team Managers, or ISF Board of Director positions.
Alternatives to volunteering some time, include giving a tax deductible donation. ISF primarily collects athletic fees at the High School level to supplement the under-funded State budgeted athletic program, and at the Middle School level to fully implement the ISF-CMS Sports Program. As a non-profit organization, ISF distributes all of these fees back to these programs, unfortunately there is still a shortfall at both the high school and middle school level. ISF encourages all levels of tax-deductible contributions ranging from an ISF membership to larger donations as a Team Sponsor.
