July 4th 15K Run/5K Run-Walk

Islander Sports Foundation hosts an annual July 4th 15K Run/ 5K Run-Walk in Coronado which is open to the public. The Run starts and finishes in Tidelands Park, adjacent to the Coronado Bay Bridge, going along Glorietta Boulevard past the golf course, yacht club and the Naval Amphibious Base.

This is one of the largest fundraising opportunities for the CHS Booster Clubs. Each club that participates, by organizing parent volunteers within their sport, is rewarded with a portion on the revenue from the event. Amounts vary by level of participation and number of volunteers, but it allows a wide range of opportunities no matter how large or small the pool of volunteers are per sport.
