It is with great pleasure that Coronado High School introduces our new Head Football coach Kurt Hines.  Coach Hines comes to us after being an assistant at Christian High School here in San Diego for two years.  Prior to that he lead the Bedford High School Bulldogs Football program in New Hampshire for many seasons.  Highlights of his career in NH:

2012  Runner-Ups DII State Championships

2011 Runner-Ups DIII State Championships

And in 2013 his team went 11-1 moving up to DI.

Coach Hines graduated from Plymouth State College with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Art and is in his 22nd year of teaching at the elementary level. While attending PSC he also played football as a tight end and different positions on special teams.

In the off-season Coach Hines works as a personal trainer and has run football training camps providing specific instruction for players in grades 7-12.

Coach Hines and his wife Jillian have four children and moved to California to be closer to their two grandchildren.

Welcome Coach Hines and his family – so glad to have you as part of our Islander Family.
